Travis Isaiah Krepelka joined Hoover & Bechtel as a law clerk in March of 2004, coming on board as an Associate in November of 2005. He has a B.A. in English: Creative Writing from the University of Redlands in 2002, summa cum laude, and obtained his J.D. at Santa Clara University in 2005, magna cum laude. While in law school, Travis was the Book Review Editor of the University's Law Review. He also received numerous Witkin and CALI awards, recognizing his academic achievements as first or second in many courses. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Delta Phi, and the Order of the Coif. Travis recognizes that people do not generally need attorneys until there is conflict. Practicing family law allows him to take great pride and personal satisfaction from reducing or easing that conflict whenever possible for people he can come to know as individuals. In his free time, Travis reads book after book, listens to music when the musicians have earned it, and watches movies with or without yellow English subtitles. He loves his wife, his home in the redwoods, his two Chihuahuas, and spending time with them all. Whenever possible, at the end of a day, he turns his attention to his first passion, laboring before a blank computer screen as a writer of fictions. | ||||||||
