Jo Ann F. Swasey
Jo Ann Swasey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude with Honors in Psychobiology from Wellesley College in 1982. She graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1985.
Admitted to the California Bar in January 1986, Ms. Swasey practiced primarily business litigation defense in Southern California. Relocating to the Bay Area in 1991, Ms. Swasey turned her attention to raising a family, becoming heavily involved in parent participation education.
Ms. Swasey joined Hoover & Bechtel, LLP, in November 2008 where she brings her real life and legal experience to the practice of family law.
In her free time, Ms. Swasey enjoys reading, cooking, walking, and exploring the natural beauty of California. Her newest interest is learning to draw.
