Matthew J. Rudy
Mr. Matthew J. Rudy graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law where he was the recipient of multiple Witkin and CALI awards for academic excellence. A native of San Jose, California, Mr. Rudy attended Fordham University graduating from the Fordham College Honors Program with a double major in Political Science and History.
Prior to joining Hoover & Bechtel, LLP, Mr. Rudy interned at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center and the Pro Bono Project. He also worked as a labor market researcher for a vocational expert, specializing in vocational evaluations relating to the issues of child support and spousal support. Mr. Rudy joined Hoover & Bechtel, LLP, in August of 2007 as a post graduate law clerk, becoming an associate attorney upon being admitted to the Bar in December of 2007. Mr. Rudy's work with Hoover & Bechtel, LLP, is limited solely to the practice of family law. While Mr. Rudy represents clients in all manner of family law disputes, he specializes in cases involving high wealth individuals, complex property analysis and high conflict custody disputes. Mr. Rudy represents all his clients with compassion as well as knowledge of the law.
Mr. Rudy was a collegiate Academic All-American in the sport of water polo and has worked as a youth and high school swimming and water polo coach.
